2017 AASHTO GIS for Transportation Symposium
PTFS is Attending the 2017 AASTHO GIS for Transportation Symposium
PTFS will be attending the 30th annual GIS for Transportation Symposium on April 10th-13th, 2016 in Pheonix, Arizona. The GIS-T symposium is a wonderful opportunity for government and private industry personnel who are interested in using GIS for transportation purposes to get together and share experiences, see state-of-art software and learn more in general about GIS technology and how it is shaping the industry. The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) sponsors the annual GIS for Transportation Symposium. See more at: http://www.gis-t.org/.
PTFS will be exhibiting its flagship product Knowvation GSTM as well as its latest product DronewareTM. Both these geospatial content management systems (GeoCMS) provide discovery, exploitation and dissemination advantages, enhancing the efficiency of geospatial analysts. The combination of powerful query tools and intuitive interfaces allows more time to analyze information, enabling geospatial analysts to make better decisions and create high quality products quickly.
The AASHTO is an organization that represents highway and transportation departments in the 50 states, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. It represents all five transportation modes: air, highways, public transportation, rail, and water. Its primary goal is to foster the development, operation and maintenance of an integrated national transportation system. AASHTO works to educate the public and key decision makers about the critical role that transportation plays in securing a good quality of life and sound economy for our nation. It serves as a liaison between state Departments of Transportation and the Federal government. AASHTO is an international leader in setting technical standards for all phases of highway system development.
