U.S. Air Force Awards Phase I Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contract to PTFS
North Bethesda, MD. August 24,2018 – The U.S. Air Force awarded a contract to PTFS under the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program for Phase I work on Declassification. PTFS will perform the work for the U.S. Air Force Declassification Office at Andrews Air Force Base. Under this contract PTFS will conduct research and development and ultimately demonstrate techniques that will improve declassification processing and efficiency. DoD is eager for efficiency gains to accommodate the tsunami of digital content on the horizon. This project also includes Phase II planning which will focus applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to the declassification challenge. PTFS competed for this SBIR contract on a full and open basis and was selected from dozens of proposals in a highly competitive submission.
