PTFS Awarded Phase I Contract With AFWERX
Rockville, Maryland – April 27, 2020 – Progressive Technology Federal Systems Inc. (PTFS), developer of Knowvation GS, an enterprise Content Services Platform (CSP) suite, today announced they were awarded a Phase I contract by AFWERX for utilizing the application to meet U.S. Air Force mission requirements.
Knowvation GS is a web-based geospatial content management system (enterprise geospatial CSP) that provides capabilities for Object Based Production (OBP), Activity based Intelligence (ABI) and analytics. Powerful search capabilities find and organize structured and unstructured content no matter where it’s stored in the enterprise. Fully modular, Knowvation GS enables users to search on geospatial parameters, metadata, and/or full text of unstructured data. Searchable content includes almost every file format..
AFWERX is a community of Air Force innovators who strive to connect Airmen to solutions across the force: whether that be funding, collaborating with industry, or simply receiving guidance on a project. AFWERX was established in 2017 by the Secretary of the Air Force, reports to the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and is comprised of active duty, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, Air Force Civilian Service, and contractor personnel. The goal is to solve problems and enhance the effectiveness of the Air Force by enabling thoughtful, deliberate, ground-up innovation across the Air Force.
