North Bethesda, MD, October 2, 2012- The United State Government Printing Office was recently honored by the Center for Digital Government for developing a Fiscal Year 2013 Budget App. The PTFS Web team is leading the design and implementation for the GPO mobile initiative and played a major role in the development, testing, and production of the Budget App that grants users free access to the text and images of the FY 2013 Budget. The U.S. Government Printing Office’s (GPO) released online recordings of radio traffic aboard Air Force One in the wake of President Kennedy’s assassination. These audio recordings were the first to be placed in FDsys, which is already well known for its text based content. Federal Digital System (FDsys) is the Government Printing Office’s advanced digital system for managing government publications and documents.
