North Bethesda, Maryland, January 7, 2014- PTFS was recently awarded a five year multi-million dollar prime contract from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) GEOINT Research Center (GRC) for a program called ILS Next. ILS Next replaces NGA’s legacy Voyager library management system which has been in operation for over a decade. PTFS is supplying its COTS ArchivalWare Digital Library System (DLS) to satisfy the stringent and complex requirements of the contract. PTFS will work closely with the staff of the GRC to replace the legacy Voyager bibliographic cataloging system with ArchivalWare DLS. The Bad Neighbors- a band started by PTFS’s CEO John Yokley, competed against many bands and was one of 8 selected for The Community’s Got Talent – Battle of the Bands charity event. The Community’s Got Talent event will be hosted by actor/comedian/musician Dan Aykroyd, and will feature bands comprised exclusively of musically talented Intelligence Community (IC), Special Operations (SO) and associated industry personnel.
