Rockville, MD — Progressive Technology Federal Systems, Inc (PTFS) proudly announces a contract award from the Joint Personnel Recovery Archive – J7 Team (JPRA). PTFS will implement its Bibliovation platform as JPRA’s new Library Services Platform (LSP).
The Bibliovation LSP will offer a robust, user-friendly platform for managing JPRA’s extensive archives. These include manuscripts, photographs, films, sound recordings, and educational materials. The JPRA selected Bibliovation 7.4 because of the easy-to-use staff interface and deep functionality. Additionally, LibLime has long used a multi-tenant, distributed computing model in the FedRAMP-certified Amazon environment.
The Bibliovation 7.4 LSP is a 100%web-based solution using responsive design. All system access to JPRA researchers, staff, and system administrators happens through web browsers on devices on any kind. JPRA staff will now use the advanced features available in Bibliovation 7.4 to manage their print, eBook, and digital collections. The system’s expansive and flexible configuration policies apply across all Bibliovation modules. Bibliovation 7.4 includes a new accessibility plugin to expand 508 compliance, along with enhanced NCIP and SIP2 support for third-party products and services. Additional features include online patron registration, the SmartSearch AI module, and expanded local cataloging rules to support local validation.

The process includes full data migration, system configuration, and multiple training sessions for both library management and line staff.

The Joint Personnel Recovery Archive -J7 Team (JPRA), located at Ft. Belvoir, VA, prepares and supports the Combined and Joint Force in conducting personnel recovery across the spectrum of conflict. The focus is on large-scale combat operations (LSCO) to maintain warfighting capability. The JPRA Library and Archives serves as the Department of Defense’s personnel recovery library and historical repository. It provides accurate, thorough, and objective accounts of the circumstances surrounding the isolation of DoD personnel. Access to materials is provided in support of planning, analysis, research, and JPRA SERE school requirements. JPRA provides the interagency and partner nations appropriate access to personnel recovery information in support of personnel recovery planning, training, research, and rehearsals.
